About Why This

Why This began with a familiar problem: wanting to send someone a genuinely great gift and having no idea where to begin.

Our Mission

We make thoughtful gifting easier. Answer five simple questions about the person, review three personalized gift-box directions, and choose the one that feels most like them.

Why the name?

Every box includes a card that tells the recipient the gift was picked specifically for them. A QR code lets them discover why it was chosen—turning the thought behind the gift into part of the experience.

Made because we couldn't find it

We built the five-minute gift concierge we wanted to use: personal without being complicated, curated without being generic, and easy enough for the moments when time is short.
